Walkthrough
- 1Exit the van into Littleroot Town.
- 2Go upstairs and examine the clock after the cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) with your mother. The 3DS sets the time automatically.
- 3Go downstairs and watch the TV. Your mother mentions your father may have been on TV and that his friend, Professor Birch, lives next door.
- 4Go to Professor Birch's house next door. You will meet his child, Brendan/May, who is about your age.
- 5Go upstairs to meet Brendan/May. They will suggest going to help Professor Birch catch some Pokémon.
- 6Head outside and north of the houses onto Route 101.
- 7Continue further onto Route 101 where you will hear someone screaming.
- 8Examine Professor Birch's bag to choose your starter Pokémon.
- 9Battle the Poochyena using your chosen starter's move (e.g., Ember for Torchic).
Starter Pokémon Comparisons:
Treecko:
- Type: Grass
- Evolutions: Grovyle, Sceptile, Mega Sceptile (Grass/Dragon)
