BOSS - Omar
Omar is accompanied by two Footmen. Focus on defeating the Footmen first, as they can deal significant damage. Their attacks include Normal Attack, Slice, Vacuum Slice (hits all allies), and Violent Slash (2-4 random hits). They are weak to swords, axes, lightning, and wind.
Omar's attacks include a Normal Attack (around 200 damage), Sideswipe (hits the entire party for 300-400 damage), and Money’s Worth, which summons a dark aura before he uses Overhead Swing on a single character. Overhead Swing deals massive damage and can inflict Unconscious. Omar is weak to spears, daggers, staves, ice, and light.
A key mechanic is that whenever Omar recovers from a break, he gains two additional shields permanently. He can do this twice, potentially reaching nine shields by the end of the battle. If Omar re-summons his Footmen, they will have half health and one less shield.
Consider using the Merchant skill Hired Help. The Mercenary summon costs 150 Leaves and provides a party-wide defense buff, which lasts longer when boosted. This buff is especially useful in physical-heavy battles.
- Prioritize defeating Omar's Footmen first.
- Keep Omar's shields low to break him before he uses Overhead Swing.
- Use debuffs like Leghold Trap and buff your party members.
- The Mercenary summon from Hired Help provides a valuable defense buff.
