Hey there! So, you're looking to tackle 'The Adventuring Life' side story in Octopath Traveler? It's a pretty straightforward one, but it's got a couple of neat ways to wrap it up. We'll get you through it in no time!

This quest kicks off in Riverford during Chapter 4. You'll find a worried Servant standing outside the tavern. She's concerned because her master, Sir Cervantes, has gone off adventuring and she wants someone to keep an eye on him. Your job is to help her out.

There are two main ways to solve this, and both involve finding Sir Cervantes. He's actually hanging out in South Orewell Pass. But before we head there, let's look at the first solution.

Solution 1: Guide or Allure

For this method, you'll need to head back to Atlasdam. Make your way to the Palace Gate area, specifically in front of the library. Here, you'll find an NPC called the Enthusiastic Youth. You'll need to use either the Guide (Ophilia) or Allure (Therion) skill on him to bring him along.

Once you've got the Enthusiastic Youth with you, it's time to track down Sir Cervantes. Teleport to Orewell and then head out of town. You'll find Cervantes chilling right near the entrance to Dragonsong Fane. Simply speak with him while the Enthusiastic Youth is in your party, and you'll complete the quest!

Solution 2: Challenge or Provoke

The second solution is a bit more direct and involves a bit of combat. You'll still need to find Sir Cervantes in South Orewell Pass, just like before.

Head to Orewell and make your way towards the Dragonsong Fane entrance. Cervantes will be there. This time, you'll need to use the Challenge (H'aanit) or Provoke (Olberic) skill on him. Don't worry too much; he's not a tough opponent at all, only having a strength of three. Defeat him in a duel, and you'll wrap up the side story.

No matter which solution you choose, you'll be rewarded handsomely. You'll receive 11,000 Leaves and a valuable Critical Nut (L) for your troubles. Nice!
