Hey there! Ready to tackle another side story in Octopath Traveler? This one's called 'The Bandits' Code' and it's found in the Cliftlands. It's pretty straightforward, but there are actually two ways to get it done, and I'll walk you through both so you can pick the one that works best for you.

This quest becomes available after you've finished Therion's Chapter 1. The bandit you need to talk to is chilling in Lower Bolderfall. He's apparently had enough of the bandit life but doesn't know how to quit. Your job is to help him out!

The Bandits' Code - Quest Details

Solution 1: The Faltering Youth (Easier)

For this first method, you'll need either Ophilia or Primrose in your party. Start by fast traveling to Sunshade. Once you're there, head into the tavern. Look for the Faltering Youth; he's usually hanging out in the northwest corner. You'll need to use one of your party members' unique skills to Guide or Allure him. Once you've got him, just return to the bandit back in Bolderfall, and you'll wrap up the quest.

Solution 2: Marta's Gang Information

This second approach takes you to a town you might not have visited yet: Victors Hollow. If you haven't found it, it's located north of S’warkii. Once you arrive in Victors Hollow, make your way to the southwest corner of the first area you enter. You'll find a woman standing in front of a building that looks a bit like a church. Use either Inquire or Scrutinize on her to get the crucial piece of information: Marta’s Gang. After you've got that intel, bring it back to the bandit in Bolderfall to complete the side story.

Both ways get you the same sweet rewards: 2,400 Leaves and a Blazon of Protection. Choose whichever path seems easiest for you!
