Here Be Dragons

Embark on the 'Here Be Dragons' side story in Octopath Traveler! Guide a Traveling Author by tracking down vital lore about dragons across Stillsnow, Orewell, and Cobbleston.

Alright, so there's this Traveling Author in Northreach who's super into dragons and needs your help gathering some intel. It's a pretty straightforward side story where you'll be doing some talking and using your Inquire/Scrutinize skills. You'll need to hit up three different towns to get all the info.

First up, you'll want to head to Stillsnow. Look for the Veteran Mercenary – he's hanging out to the right of the tavern, right along the southern edge of town. Chat him up to get the Dragon of the Frostlands info.

Next, make your way to Orewell. On the left side of town, you'll see a woman standing in front of a house. Right next to her, there's an NPC called the Affable Merchant. He's got the scoop on the Dragon of the Cliftlands, so make sure to Inquire or Scrutinize him.

Finally, your last stop is Cobbleston. Find the Cheerful Storyteller, who’s chilling next to the house in the southwest corner of the village. He’ll share the info on the Dragon of the Highlands.

Once you've got all three pieces of dragon lore, just head back to the Traveling Author in Northreach. He'll be waiting to hear what you've found, and you'll wrap up this side story!
