Alright, so you're going for the 'Snuggles for All' trophy/achievement in Monster Hunter: World. This one involves a bit of a scavenger hunt for the Endemic Life Researcher. After you've helped her out with her previous quest in the Elder's Recess, specifically the 'Research Help: Bomb Beetle Capture', you'll need to wait for her to pop up again. She'll reappear in the Ancient Forest, chilling in her usual spot on the western side of AREA 5, near the Northeast Camp.

Chat with her, and she'll tell you that all your hard work has paid off – she's found a new little critter for you to track down. She'll give you a new delivery request called 'Research Help: Phantom Bird', but she's pretty vague on details. That's where we come in!

This 'Phantom Bird' she's after is actually a Downy Crake. Now, you won't find these guys just wandering around. They're a bit of a symbiotic creature, traveling on the backs of larger monsters. Specifically, you'll find them hitching a ride on Apceros in the Wildspire Waste. Your best bet is to head to the Southwest Camp in the Wildspire Waste and check out the backs of the three Apceros that usually spawn there. Look for little gray, fluffy birds – they're super cute!

Here's the tricky part: these little birds are pretty skittish, especially when they're riding on the backs of big, armored dinosaurs that are often on the menu for even bigger monsters. Sneaking might not be enough. To actually catch these birdies, you're going to want to equip your Ghillie Mantle. If that wasn't enough, the Downy Crake doesn't always show up. You'll probably need to travel between different areas on the map – just hopping between camps on the same map won't cut it.

So, here’s the plan: Equip your Ghillie Mantle. Travel to the Southwest Camp in the Wildspire Waste. Head out into AREA 1. Activate your Ghillie Mantle and carefully search the backs of the Apceros you find there. If you spot the Downy Crakes, get close and use your capture net to snag them. Pulling this off will bag you that trophy/achievement!
