The Pink Rathian's head is the most receptive to damage, followed by its wings and tail. The head and wings are breakable, and the tail is severable. It shares the Rathian's resistances, being resistant to fire and weak to Dragon. Its ailment resistances are also similar, being susceptible to Stun, strong against Poison and Blast, with Sleep and Paralysis in the middle.
To counter its fire attacks, a Fire Resistance of twenty or higher makes hunters immune to fire damage-over-time. Three ranks of the Poison Resistance skill prevent poison damage.
