Part 97

Master all four exclusive PSP races in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. Get Gold times for Highway Heat, Comet's Tail, Home Run, and the final race.

The following are the four races exclusive to the PSP Version of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. All of them are Single Course Checkpoint Races with varying degrees of difficulty.

Highway Heat

• Neighborhood: North Holland (Algonquin).
• Map: (B-2).
• Directions: From Dayton [NLD-D7], go north back to the main road then turn west. When you get to the road curve going south then angle northwest and cut through the park. Continue forward and you should find the Angel by the wall near a park bench.
• Time: Bronze - 0:55 and under, Silver - 0:45 and under, Gold - 0:40 and under.
• Notes: This course weaves through North Holland and ends near where you started. It features oncoming traffic in three sections and a parking area with a large tanker truck. The biggest obstacle is heavy traffic, which can easily slow you down enough to prevent a Gold Medal.

Comet's Tail

• Neighborhood: Northern Gardens (Bohan).
• Map: (E-1).
• Directions: From Kwan [NTG-D50], go north back to the road and go east then take the road curve south. Just after you finish the curve you should see a lamppost to your left. Just after you get to it then turn left and go east through an open area. Continue forward until you find the Comet which is near the center of this area.
• Time: Bronze - 1:10 and under, Silver - 1:00 and under, Gold - 0:55 and under.
• Notes: The first half of the course is fairly easy, but the second half near the northern shoreline requires weaving through rocks and trees. Tapping the Acceleration Button is recommended for this section to avoid falling into the water. The timing is generally generous for Gold.

Home Run

• Neighborhood: Meadows Park (Dukes).
• Map: (F-3).
• Directions: The Cityscape can be found at the south side of the red and white circular building in the center of The Liberty State Pavilion Towers. The Towers are located at the northeast corner of Meadows Park just west of the Willis Gas Station.
• Time: Bronze - 1:05 and under, Silver - 0:50 and under, Gold - 0:45 and under.
• Notes: This is likely the hardest PSP Exclusive race. The Cityscape vehicle is light and easily bounced off course. Smacking into other vehicles can slow you down significantly or knock you onto your side. Avoiding or lightly grazing vehicles is crucial. The path out of the park is obscured by the Towers, making it difficult to see.
