Part 14

Learn how to achieve 5 and 6-star wanted levels and find police vehicles in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. Discover police station locations.

5-Star Wanted Level (the star icons in the top-right showing how aggressively police pursue you)

You can achieve a 5-star wanted level after completing the mission "Carpe 'Dime'". At this point, police pursuit intensifies with more vehicles.

6-Star Wanted Level

You can achieve a 6-star wanted level after completing the mission "By Myriads of Swords". In addition to other vehicles, the Rhino (a tank) will appear. It is slow but its turret spins quickly, and one shot will kill you. You cannot steal the tank.

Busted Status

If you are caught by the police, on foot or in a vehicle, you will be Busted. Any mission you are on will be Failed. You are sent to the nearest Police Station, processed for six game hours, fined $100, and released. You also lose all weapons and Body Armor.

There are twelve Police Stations in Liberty City:

• East Holland Police Station: Algonquin, Map (C-2). Police Patrol cars and NOOSE Enforcers can be found here.
• Varsity Heights Police Station: Algonquin, Map (B-2). Police Patrol cars, NOOSE Enforcers, and FIB Ranchers can be found here.
• Middle Park East Police Station: Algonquin, Map (C-3). Police Patrol cars and Body Armor can be found here.
• Westminster Police Station: Algonquin, Map (B-3). Body Armor can be found here.
• Suffolk Police Station: Algonquin, Map (B-4). Police Patrol cars can be found here.
• Fishmarket North Police Station: Algonquin, Map (C-4). Police Patrol cars, NOOSE Enforcers, and Body Armor can be found here.
• Fortside Police Station: Bohan, Map (D-1).
• Northern Gardens Police Station: Bohan, Map (E-1). .
• Cerveza Heights Police Station: Broker, Map (E-3). .
• Francis International Airport Police Station: Map (F-3). Police Patrol cars, NOOSE Enforcers, and Body Armor can be found here.
• South Slopes Police Station: Broker, Map (E-4). Body Armor can be found in the back.
• Hove Beach Police Station: Broker, Map (D-4).

Police Vehicles

You can use Police Vehicles, found at most Police Stations. Taking one usually results in a 1-star wanted level.

While in a Police Vehicle (except the Coast Guard Launch and Rhino), press or hold the Select Button to access the Police computer for Vigilante Missions.

• Police Patrol: Found on the street and at most Police Stations. Entering one gives you five Shotgun shells.
• Coast Guard Launch: Appears at a 2-star wanted level. It has a slow-firing but powerful gun that can be aimed and fired using the Touch Screen (NDS) or L Button/Analog Stick and A Button (NDS) or Circle Button (PSP).
• NOOSE Enforcer: Appears at a 3-star wanted level and can be found at some Police Stations. Entering this vehicle grants Body Armor.
• FIB Rancher: Appears at a 4-star wanted level and can be found at some Police Stations. Entering this vehicle grants five Shotgun rounds.
• Rhino: Appears at a 6-star wanted level, at Francis International Airport for the Odd Job "Fast Tracks", and can be purchased at Auto Merchant for $10,000 after completing the mission "Salt in the Wound".
