There are six drugs in three categories that you will be dealing with:

  • Hallucinogens: Acid and Ecstasy.
  • Depressants: Weed and Downers.
  • Powders: Heroin and Coke.

Some drugs are more expensive to deal with than others. Powders are the most expensive but can yield the highest profit. Depressants are generally the least expensive but still offer good profit potential.

Gangs

Much of Liberty City is controlled by multiple gangs. When you enter a gang territory, you will see people wearing gang colors (e.g., red for the Spanish Lords) and specific vehicles. Attacking a gang member will provoke an attack. These gangs are also involved in Rampages, which will be covered later.

While many Dealers operate within these territories, only 29 are affiliated with specific gangs. Each gang sells a particular product and has a preferred purchase:
