Part 105

Guide to completing Part 105 in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, including random encounters with Wilhelm and the PSP exclusive mission 'Half Cut'.

After completing the previous mission, you will find a Ledger with deals for the Spanish Lords. This may be useful. When you have done that then the mission is successfully completed.

You will also get a message from Ammu-Nation that the Shotgun, Flashbangs, and Body Armor are available from Ammu-Nation.net.

You can now hijack gang vans for cargo. They will be regular gang colored vans with a red marker above them. You can simply run up and jack them just like the van you jacked earlier. Take it to a secluded Safehouse and cut open the panel to either find Drugs or nothing.

Later, you will also get an email from Kenny telling you about some keys he found in the van which opens up a new Safehouse in Lancaster. This will also open up another mission at the Warehouse.

If you own the PSP Version then you should get another message from Melanie and this will open up another mission for her at Firefly Island.

You will also get an email from Zhao which will re-open up his line of missions. Then you will get an email from Chan which will re-open up his line of missions.

You will also open up the Shotgun range at Liberty City Gun Club.

At this point in the game you can now get 5-Star Wanted Ratings if you cause enough trouble.

Random Encounters (Part Two)

You will now unlock the last of the Random Encounters. There are three encounters and all with the same person, Wilhelm. He is a snarky investor who is buying up cheap foreclosure properties and all of his encounters can only be done during the daytime hours:

1. Encounter One: Wilhelm can be found by the side of the road just south of Liam [STY-D61]. He wants you to take him to the next foreclosure auction which is in City Hall. You have four game hours to do that but is more than enough time to do the task. When you get him there then the encounter is completed successfully and you will get $250.
2. Encounter Two: Wilhelm can be found in Meadow Hills north of FatLad [WLS-D65]. He needs to go to another foreclosure auction at City Hall. Drive him there just like before. It still has the same four game hour limit but still is more than enough time for the task. When you get there then the encounter is completed successfully and you will get $500.
3. Encounter Three: Wilhelm can be found on the Dukes Bay Bridge. The banks foreclosed on the loans he was using to buy the cheap property and he is now broke except for a house he still owned but lost the keys. Anyway, he intends to jump off the bridge and end it all. After Wilhelm jumps Huang notices something on the ground, Wilhelm's house keys. This also completes Wilhelm's last encounter and you also gain a new Safehouse in Meadow Hills (where you found Wilhelm for his second encounter).

With all of the Random Encounters completed it is back to the Main Story and to Melanie. If you have the NDS Version then you need to skip to Chapter WKL9 otherwise proceed to the next mission.

Melanie Mallard - Half Cut [PSP Exclusive]

Overview: Upon arrival at Firefly Island both Huang and Melanie are approached by one of Chan's men. Chan recently came into possession of some new and very addictive and toxic drug. Huang is to give some of the local junkies some to see what works.

Weapon: Sword.

The Plan: When you start then get into the van and go to the Legal Marine Store so Melanie can get some footage. When you get to the first group of junkies then throw a Package near them the same way as you throw a Grenade/Molotov. If you throw the Drugs when in view of the Cops then you will get a Wanted Rating. After tossing a Package near them then they will try it out and attack the van. Get away from the area and take Melanie to the next group. When you get there then jump the fence. Switch to your sword and proceed up the alley tossing samples at the groups of junkies. When you toss a sample at the last group then they all attack the both of you at once. Use the Sword to quickly kill them before they kill Melanie. After this then go back to the van and go to South Slopes. When you get here then you need to throw Drugs at five groups of junkies. There is also an Addiction Line to fill up. Tossing Drugs at them will fill up the Line. The good thing is that, unlike the previous groups, these junkies will not attack you. The only thing to watch out for are the Cops. After throwing Drugs at all five groups then you need to take Melanie back to Firefly Island. As you head there then you will be attacked by rival gangs that are mad at you for screwing around with their customers but they are easy to avoid even with the slow van. When you get back to Firefly Island then the mission is successfully completed.
