The Map
Unlike GTA IV, Chinatown Wars lacks street names, and the top-down view makes landmarking difficult without the GPS. Dealers, Cameras, businesses, and Safehouses serve as primary landmarks. The in-game map can be inconsistent with actual locations; for example, a Dealer might appear in one district on the map but be located in an adjacent one in reality.
Landmarking Details:
- Dealers: Primary landmarks due to their abundance. Use them to discover nearby points of interest. Directions may refer to intersections relative to a Dealer's block.
- Safehouses & Businesses: Safehouses, Gas Stations, and Pay 'N' Sprays are also used as landmarks.
- Cameras: Security Cameras are also used for landmarking.
