Tips
  • Encourage the Knight of the Dying Sun to focus on Clive by pelting him with magic.
  • If you get too close to the Imperial War Aevis, you may take incidental damage from its attacks.
  • Mirage Drive can be avoided by running around the arena and avoiding the glowing spots.
  • You can't land meaningful attacks during Mirage Drive, so focus on evasion.
  • After the battle, you can undertake two new side quests: 'A Place for Everyone' and 'Moving Heaven and Earth'.
  • You can buy/craft new gear, but superior equipment will be obtained for free later, so consider saving your gil and resources.

After traveling to the Three Reeds, the next main quest, 'Homecoming', will begin.
