After checking the lamp, keep heading east until you spot a wooden shack. Take a right there, and you should find Norreis hanging out by the water. Have a chat with him, reassure the guy, and then it's back to Brennan at Martha's Rest. Turn in the quest, and you'll get x10 Magicked Ash and a Meteorite – super handy for crafting!
