Welcoming Committee Side Quest in FFXVI

Alright, so you're looking to tackle the 'Welcoming Committee' side quest in Final Fantasy XVI? Great choice! It's a pretty straightforward one, but you'll need to have made a bit of progress in the main story first. You'll need to have reached the Hideaway and then progressed a bit further until the 'Righting Wrongs' main quest unlocks Alliant Reports. Once that's done, fast travel to Lostwing in The Holy Empire of Sanbreque. Look for a guy named Alain, and he'll kick things off for you.

Once you've chatted with Alain, you'll be tasked with helping out some new Bearers who are having a tough time adjusting. They've been through a lot, so it's understandable. Speak to the two Exhausted Bearers sitting to Alain's right. They're starving, poor things. Your job is to grab some food for them. Head into the inn and find the Sobersided Shopkeeper. She'll sort you out with some provisions. Oh, and before you rush off, take a moment to explore the area around the inn. There are usually some chests tucked away with useful Accessories and Orchestrions – always good to grab!

After you've spoken with the shopkeeper, you'll find the Bread and Wine waiting for you on a table. Grab that and head back to the Bearers. Hand over the food, and boom! Quest complete. Your reward is a Gil Bug, which is basically a fancy item you sell for a good chunk of Gil. Perfect for stocking up on potions or grabbing some new gear from a shop.

Tip: Don't forget to check the surrounding area for chests before you leave Lostwing. You might find some nice goodies!
