Strategy

These Captains have a nasty habit of teleporting, and they're invincible while doing it. If you keep firing when they start to teleport, you'll just be wasting precious ammo. The teleport takes a few seconds, so you'll have to wait for them to reappear. Keep an eye out, because they love to teleport behind you for a surprise attack. Try to predict when they're going to do it.

When it comes to weapons, you'll want to stick with the heavy hitters. Things like the Shotgun, RPG, and Railgun are your best bet. They deal a lot of damage with each shot, which is crucial because these guys teleport frequently after taking a hit. This means you want to make every shot count.

On the flip side, weapons that do less damage per hit, like the Ripper, AT Laser, or Devastator, can actually make things harder. They'll trigger the Captain's teleport ability more often, leading to a lot of wasted ammo and frustration. The only exception seems to be Turrets; they don't seem to provoke the teleport as much.

Remember, they have special plated armor on their head, arms, and legs that can deflect shots. Don't waste your ammo trying to blast those parts off. Their chest, however, is unprotected. That's your sweet spot – aim for the chest to deal direct damage and conserve ammo.
