Tips for the Rooftop Showdown
- Drop Points: There are three drop points on the roof. If facing away from the Duke Burger sign, they are to the far right, far left, and slightly right in front.
- Shrink Ray Usage: With 20 shots available, prioritize shrinking the most dangerous enemies like Berserk Pigcops. Save some shots for the Assault Commanders. Reloading after the first checkpoint resets weapons, granting another 20 Shrink Ray shots.
- Throwable Bricks: The 5 bricks near the destroyed wall can kill Pigcops in one hit. Aim to take out two with one brick by lining them up. Avoid using them on Enforcers as they won't kill them instantly. Bricks may break after one use.
- Explosives: Use Pipe Bombs and Laser Trip Mines by laying traps at drop spots to weaken or kill enemies. At least two of either explosive are needed to kill an enemy.
- Consumables: Use Beer and/or Steroids during Waves 4 and 5 for damage reduction to survive. Alternate between them for sustained benefits.
- Pigcop Tactics: Pigcops can use the building door; be aware of this. For Wave 1, place Trip Mines at the drop spot and finish survivors with a Shotgun or Shrink Ray. For Wave 2, use Pipe Bombs on the other side and deal with survivors. Grab more explosives during interludes.
- Later Waves: For Wave 3, stay left, use Trip Mines for the Berserk Pigcop, then deal with Pistol Pigcops. For Waves 4 and 5, stay right and use Trip Mines and/or the Shrink Ray on Berserk Pigcops. Use Pipe Bombs for the Shotgun and Pistol Pigcops in Wave 6. Save Shrink Ray ammo unless they go berserk, then finish with the Shotgun.
- Enforcer Strategy: For Enforcers, you can kill them normally (requires ~4 Shotgun blasts at point-blank, risky but yields weapon) or shrink and step on them (safer, no weapon). If going for the weapon, stay close, circle-strafe, and use the Shotgun. Be aware of their slow melee attack.
- Checkpoint Respawns: When dying or reloading at a checkpoint, all ammo and weaponry respawn, but dropped items disappear.
- Enforcer Approach: At least one Enforcer will walk forward before attacking when they drop onto the rooftop, providing a brief window for damage.
