Walkthrough
  1. 1
Start the final level by shooting the Assault Trooper in the next room after stepping off the teleporter pad.
  2. 2
Enter the back room with the three small offices and flip the switch in the middle room to lower the Moon Rover.
  3. 3
Hop into the Moon Rover and drive onto the surface after rolling into and out of the airlock.
  4. 4
Enemies are generally not a threat in the Moon Rover.
  5. 5
When reaching a massive jump, start from the far left and boost over along the right side of the hill to clear the canyon.
  6. 6
If aiming for the Bloody Red Rover achievement, check all craters for enemies to run over; thirty kills are achievable in one playthrough. The boss battle can also provide additional roadkill.
  7. 7
When the rover runs out of fuel at the expanse of alien tendrils, shoot pods on the tendrils to create jets of air to stand in. An EDF Ammo Crate and a Ripper are near the buggy.
  8. 8
Avoid the small claw-like arms on the large central structures, as they can deal significant damage.
  9. 9
Option 1: Proceed along the tentacles, passing structures until you reach one where three Pregnators spawn. Dispose of them. Between structures, find a Duke Clone and an Impregnader. At the next structure, two Assault Trooper Captains will attack; try to defeat them before moving on. The last structure spawns three Pregnators and two Assault Trooper Captains; be wary of the high number of enemies. Descend into the large crater with the damaged Moon Rover.
  10. 10
Option 2: If you have a full Ego Bar (your health bar), you can sprint and jump. Head to the first pod with claws (not the one with Pregnators) and break open an oxygen vent. Once full of air, sprint for the crater.
Tips
  • There are more than thirty enemies to run over in this level; some spawn near craters or specific points. Spawning all crater enemies and running over unavoidable ones should help reach the quota.
  • The Doctor Who Cloned Me (DLC (downloadable content — extra missions or items released after launch)) campaign has fewer Ego cap awards to find, making the I Am All That Is Man - Again achievement easier.
  • The difficulty-based achievements (Another Piece of Cake, Let's Rock Out, Come Get A Little More, Damn, I'm REALLY Good) are story-based and stackable.
  • You must beat the game at least once on any difficulty before attempting the Insane Difficulty achievement (Damn, I'm REALLY Good).
  • The Moon Rover has a form of energy shielding when Duke is outside the vehicle, possibly an alternative to a spacesuit.
  • A physics goof can occur if you push the Moon Rover to the end of the airlock, causing parts of it to disappear.
  • A graphics quality change threshold exists before the next area; parking the vehicle on this spot can cause graphical glitches.
  • The underwater level and Mighty Foot levels from the main campaign are comparable to this level's feel, minus the slow movement speed.
  • Various achievements and their associated Gamerscore/trophy tiers.
