How to Reach Alfornada

Alright, so you're looking to get to Alfornada, huh? It's the next big stop for your Gym challenge, and thankfully, there are a couple of ways to get there. We'll cover both the super-easy climbing method and the slightly more traditional route.

Reaching Alfornada With Climb

This is honestly the fastest way if you've unlocked the climbing ability on your Koraidon or Miraidon. First things first, you'll want to teleport to the Pokemon Center located in West Area One. From there, just start heading towards Alfornada. You'll eventually hit some mountains, and that's where your trusty ride Pokemon comes in! Just use its climbing ability to scurry your way right into town. It's pretty straightforward!

Reaching Alfornada Without Climb

If you haven't quite unlocked the climbing feature yet, or just prefer the scenic route, you'll want to head back towards the area around Cortondo. Seriously, trying to get to Alfornada from anywhere else is a pain, so this is your best bet. Your main goal here is to cross the river. You can do this by heading above the area and jumping or gliding down. Keep an eye out, because you're looking for a cave entrance – the map should give you a good idea of where it is.

Once you're inside the cave, just keep pushing through until you reach a drop-off point. Don't worry about falling, because this game is super forgiving – there's no fall damage and no water below, so you won't respawn or anything.

Follow this path all the way up, and you'll eventually find yourself at Alfornada cave. It's a bit of a trek to get through, but just stick to the path, and you'll pop out in just a few minutes. Once you're finally out and in Alfornada, make sure to head straight for the local Pokemon Center to get healed up. You'll want to be in top shape because after you enter the gym, you'll likely have to face Nemona if this is your fifth Gym battle. Good luck!
