Veluza: Kofu leads with Veluza, which has the ability Mold Breaker, ignoring abilities when attacking. Its moves include Aqua Cutter and Psycho Cut (both with increased chance to critical), Night Slash, and Aqua Jet. Grass types are ideal, provided they are not weak to Psychic. Electric types are also good, but they do not resist Aqua Cutter and Aqua Jet.

Pelipper: Pelipper has the ability Drizzle, summoning rain which powers up Water moves. Its attacks include Surf (STAB, rain-boosted), Hurricane (Flying STAB, 100% accuracy in rain), Blizzard, and Quick Attack. A fast Electric type is recommended.

Wugtrio: Wugtrio can use Triple Dive, Throat Chop (to silence sound-based moves), Stomping Tantrum (to counter Electric types), and Sucker Punch. Its ability is Gooey, which lowers Speed upon direct contact. A reliable Grass type is recommended.

Clawitzer: Clawitzer uses Water Pulse (STAB), Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, and Aura Sphere. All its moves are boosted by its ability, Mega Launcher. Grass types are ideal as they are super-effective and resist Water Pulse.

Terastallized Crabominable: Kofu’s final Pokémon Terastallizes into a pure Water type, retaining Fighting and Ice STAB. Attacks include Crabhammer, Ice Hammer, and Close Combat (all STAB), plus Zen Headbutt for coverage. Its ability, Iron Fist, boosts Ice Hammer. Crabominable is slow, allowing you to get hits in. Electric types are the safest offensive choice, though no type resists all three STAB moves. Defensively, Veluza or Azumarill could work as they resist all of Crabominable’s moves.

Pay attention to Kofu’s Pokémon abilities, such as Mold Breaker and Gooey, as they can affect your strategy.
Leverage the rain summoned by Pelipper to boost your Water-type moves if you choose to use them, but be aware it also boosts Kofu’s Water-type attacks.
