Alright, let's talk about tackling Tyranitar in those special Tera Raid events in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It can be a bit tricky because its Tera Type can change, but don't worry, we'll get you prepped!

Tyranitar's Tera Type:

In a 4-star raid, Tyranitar's Tera Type is totally random.
For 5-star raids, it's a 50/50 chance: it'll either be a Ghost type or a random Tera Type. If it's Ghost, bringing a strong Dark or Ghost Pokémon is your best bet – they'll hit for double damage!

Since the Tera Type can be a surprise, it's smart to have a few different Pokémon ready to go. Also, pay attention to Tyranitar's regular moves so you don't bring in something that's weak against them.

Tyranitar 4-Star Raid Moveset & Strategy

Here's what Tyranitar might throw at you in a 4-star raid:

In the tougher 5-star raids, Tyranitar's moveset gets a little more dangerous:
