Meal Powers are bonus effects you can obtain from eating sandwiches during picnics or foods at restaurants etc. These effects can help you obtain certain Pokémon or rewards more easily.

How Long Do Meal Powers Last?

Meal Powers only work for a duration of 30 minutes. If you are trying to achieve something specific, like finding a Shiny Pokémon with Sparkling Power, and the duration ends without success, you can disable Auto-Save, save the game, use the Meal Power, and if unsuccessful after 30 minutes, reset the game.

Can You Stack Meal Powers?

You can stack up to 3 Meal Powers from a single food source. However, consuming a different food source will overwrite the previous Meal Powers.

List of Meal Powers:

• Egg Power: Increased chance of finding Pokémon Eggs from the picnic basket. This is useful for breeding Pokémon, especially for shiny-hunting purposes. Egg Power is universal and does not apply to specific types.
• Catching Power: Increased chance of catching Pokémon with Poké Balls. This is helpful for filling your Pokédex or catching Legendary Pokémon, and makes it easier to catch Pokémon of a certain Type.
• Exp. Point Power: Increased amount of experience points from battles. This is useful for grinding levels for your Pokémon.
• Item Drop Power: Increased amount of TM materials from battles. This is useful if you are trying to teach your Pokémon multiple TMs.
• Raid Power: Increased amount of rewards from Tera Raid Battles. This is beneficial for obtaining rare items like Tera Crystal Shards and Herba Mystica.
• Title Power: Increased chance of encountering Pokémon with Titles. Titles are bestowed by Marks, which Pokémon can possess depending on the circumstances of their capture.
• Sparkling Power: Increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon. This only works on wild Pokémon, not those hatched from Eggs or encountered in Tera Raid Battles.
• Humungo Power: Increased chance of encountering Pokémon of a large Size. This effect makes it more likely for Pokémon of a certain Type to be big.
• Teensy Power: Increased chance of encountering Pokémon of a small Size. This is the counterpart to Humungo Power, increasing the likelihood of encountering small Pokémon.
• Encounter Power: Increased chance of encountering Pokémon of a certain Type. This is useful if you are searching for a Pokémon species with a low spawn rate.
