How to Beat Champion Nemona

Nemona's team is varied, so bring a varied team yourself. Having one or two Fighting types is highly recommended as they are super-effective against half of her team, and potentially more if you chose Fuecoco as your starter.

Consider bringing your fully evolved starter Pokemon, as Nemona will use the starter that is weak to yours.

The Level 75 Tera Lucario found at Dalizapa Passage in the underground tunnel is a good option due to its high level and all-around capabilities.

The Level 75 Tera Dragonite located at the eastern edge of Paldea is another high-level option with exceptional Attack.

Lycanroc (Level 65): Nemona's Lycanroc uses Stone Edge, Accelerock, Drill Run, and Stealth Rock. Ground or Fighting types are ideal to deal super-effective damage and resist Stone Edge. A fast victory is advised to prevent Stealth Rock setup.

Goodra (Level 65): This Pokemon uses Dragon Pulse, Muddy Water, Sludge Bomb, and Ice Beam. An Ice type is recommended. If you have the Level 75 Tera Dragonite, it can defeat Goodra with Outrage.

Dudunsparce (Level 65): Nemona's Dudunsparce has the rare three-segment form and uses Hyper Drill, Drill Run, Dragon Rush, and Coil. Fighting types are the natural choice, and the Level 75 Tera Lucario can easily defeat it.

Orthworm (Level 65): This Steel type uses Iron Tail, Earthquake, Body Press, and Rock Blast. It has the Earth Eater ability, which absorbs Ground-type damage. A Fighting type is recommended, and the Tera Lucario can handle it.

Pawmot (Level 65): Pawmot uses Double Shock (which removes its Electric typing afterwards), Close Combat, Ice Punch, and Quick Attack. Psychic or Fairy types are recommended. While Double Shock is powerful, Pawmot becomes less threatening after using it.

Skeledirge (Level 66, if you picked Quaxly): Nemona will Terastallize her Skeledirge into a pure Fire type. It uses Torch Song (boosting Special Attack), Shadow Ball, Snarl, and Earth Power. Water types, particularly your starter Quaquaval, are highly recommended.

Meowscarada (Level 66, if you picked Fuecoco): Nemona will Terastallize her Meowscarada into a pure Grass type. It uses Flower Trick (never misses, always criticals), Thunder Punch, Play Rough, and Shadow Claw. Fire types are highly recommended. If using your starter Skeledirge, consider Terastallizing it to negate its Ghost weakness.

Quaquaval (Level 66, if you picked Sprigatito): Nemona will Terastallize her Quaquaval into a pure Water type. It uses Aqua Step (boosting Speed), Brick Break, Ice Spinner, and Aerial Ace. Grass types are ideal, but Ice Spinner can deal significant damage. Electric types are not recommended as they take full damage from Aqua Step and may be outsped.
