To get a Maushold, first catch a Tandemaus near the Pokémon League. Evolve it into Maushold by leveling it to Lv 25. If it reaches this level during battle, you'll see it evolve; otherwise, it evolves unnoticed in your party or box.

The most crucial move for Maushold is the Normal-type move Population Bomb, learned at Level 53. This move has a base power of 20 and can hit up to ten times, potentially reaching 200 power. With STAB (Same-Type Attack Bonus), the damage per hit increases by 50% (to 30 power). Each hit has a 90% accuracy check; if any strike misses, the rest are cancelled.
