Alright, so you've made it to Dondozo, the False Dragon Titan! This big guy is a Water-type and sits at Level 55. Honestly, you'll have a much smoother time if you're at least Level 56 going into this fight. It just makes things a bit easier to overpower him.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Type: Water
• Weaknesses: Electric, Grass (all equally effective)
• Resistances: Ice, Water, Steel
• Abilities: Oblivious (prevents Intimidate/Taunt in Phase 1)

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Dondozo uses Body Slam, Water Pulse (chance to Confuse), and potentially Aqua Tail (as per a player comment). Oblivious ability is active.
2. Phase 2: Dondozo consumes a Herba Mystica, buffing its stats. Arven joins you with Greedent (Normal-type). Dondozo gains Order Up and Aqua Tail (if not used in Phase 1) and its existing attacks hit harder.

Strategy:

• Team Building: Since Dondozo is a Water-type, you'll want Pokémon with Electric or Grass-type moves. If you haven't caught any yet, consider these options you might have encountered on your way: Breloom (Grass), Meowscarada (Grass), Scovillain (Grass), Luxray (Electric), Ampharos (Electric), or Raichu (Electric).
• Key Moves: If you have Pokémon like Breloom, Scovillain, or Luxray, moves like Leech Seed, Razor Leaf, or Volt Switch will be super effective. For Electric types, Thunder Shock or Volt Switch are great.
• Healing is Key: Dondozo's Body Slam can hit pretty hard. Make sure you've got plenty of Potions and Super Potions handy to keep your team healthy. Water Pulse can also inflict Confusion, which is super annoying as your Pokémon might hit themselves!
• Avoid Certain Types: Don't bring Pokémon that are strong against Water types like Ice, Water, or Steel, as Dondozo resists them.
• Round 2 Prep: After the first fight, Dondozo will flee. Just hop on your Legendary Mount and swim west across the water. You'll find a shallow area near another island where the second phase begins. Arven will be there to help this time, which is a nice bonus!
• Watch Out for New Moves: In the second round, Dondozo gets Order Up and Aqua Tail. These are mainly damage-dealing, so just be ready to heal up after they land. The other attacks will also hit harder due to the Herba Mystica buff.
• Post-Battle: Once you finally take down Dondozo, you'll need to face Tatsugiri to complete the Dragon Titan questline. After that, you'll unlock the ability to Climb on your Legendary Pokémon! Just press [Button] on your Joy-Cons or Pro Controller to hop on, and then press [Button] when facing a wall to scale it.
