Alright, so you're looking to snag yourself a Brute Bonnet in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet? Awesome choice! This guy is a Scarlet exclusive, meaning if you're playing Violet, you'll need to trade for it. Brute Bonnet is one of those cool Paradox Pokémon, which are basically ancient versions of Pokémon we already know, but with a twist. Think of them as prehistoric throwbacks!

You won't be able to find any Paradox Pokémon, including Brute Bonnet, until you've really progressed through the main story and gained access to Area Zero. This is the big crater smack-dab in the middle of the Paldea region. To get there, you'll need to have finished up the three main story paths: Victory Road (where you challenge the Gyms), Starfall Street (dealing with Team Star), and Path of Legends (taking down those big Titan Pokémon). Once you've wrapped up the story quests within Area Zero itself, you can actually zip back there anytime you want by just fast traveling to the Zero Gate. Super convenient!

Now, for the good part: finding and catching Brute Bonnet! The great news is they're actually pretty common once you're in Area Zero. You'll find them chilling in the more open areas of the crater, and even in some of the caves. We've had a lot of luck spotting them hanging around the area near Research Station No. 2. When you encounter them, they'll usually be somewhere between Level 56 and 58, depending on the exact spot. Sometimes these Paradox Pokémon can be a little tricky to catch, so we highly recommend stocking up on Ultra Balls. They really give you that extra boost to make sure they end up in your collection!
