Hey there! So you're looking to get your hands on the Impact Spike Thrower, huh? This is a solid Tenakth weapon that packs a punch with its non-explosive spikes. Just remember, you'll need to throw those spikes at full draw to get through enemy armor.

How to Get It:

To snag this bad boy, you first need to help out Larent in Barren Light. He'll give you four Salvage Contract Quests: Convoy Ambush, Scavengers, Alarm Antennas, and Elusive Fanghorn. Once you've cleared all of those, Larent will gift you the Impact Spike Thrower as a reward. Pretty neat, right?

Upgrades:

You can upgrade this weapon to make it even more powerful. Here's what you'll need:

• Upgrade I: 50 Metal Shards and 1x Braided Wire. Metal Shards are usually found in crates, and Braided Wire drops from machines.
• Upgrade II: 75 Metal Shards, 1x Braided Wire, and 1x Skydrifter Circulator. The circulator comes from Skydrifters, either by defeating them or shooting it off during combat.
• Upgrade III: 85 Metal Shards, 2x Braided Wires, 1x Small Machine Core, and 1x Skydrifter Razor Tail. Small Machine Cores can drop from any machine, and the Razor Tail is another part you can get from Skydrifters.

Perks:

Once you reach Level Two on your upgrades, you'll unlock the Knockdown Perk, which gives you a nice +10% damage boost. Definitely worth going for!

Best Use:

This weapon really shines against slower machines that you want to take down fast.
