Walkthrough
  1. 1
To access Cauldron KAPPA, you must be later in the game and have completed 'The Sea of the Sands' quest. It is located in the northwest corner of the map.
  2. 2
Dive into the water to enter the Cauldron. You may encounter a Shellsnapper, but can avoid it by diving deeper. The Diving Mask is required for this section.
  3. 3
In the first room, avoid the Snapmaw. Find an opening in the center, leading to a door. Override the door to proceed.
  4. 4
In the next room, use your Pullcaster to drag a crate into the water. This will trigger an attack from two Spikesnouts; defeat them.
  5. 5
Use the crate, now positioned under a pole, to climb up. Glide across an opening with your Shieldwing to reach the next area.
  6. 6
In a room with a moving pillar, wait for it to descend to its lowest point, then climb on. As it rises, you'll reach a platform. Instead of jumping to the ledges, you will fall into the water.
  7. 7
Use the water to evade machines. In the back left, find moving pillars to cross to a climbable wall.
  8. 8
Continue through the opening to face two Apex Burrowers. These must be defeated as stealth is not an option. They are more powerful due to their Apex status but manageable at Level 40.
  9. 9
Activate the node and proceed upwards. You'll encounter more machines and a Network Uplink. Activate the Uplink to raise the water level.
  10. 10
Drop into the water and swim forward. Climb the available pillars to reach a crate. Move this crate to access a vent, then climb up and access another node to further raise the water level.
  11. 11
When stuck, look for crates to move or use your Pullcaster on.
  12. 12
Use the Pullcaster to move the crate you just climbed on to fit into a nearby divot.
  13. 13
Swim down to the node below the one you just used. This lowers the water level. Swim back to the pillars and use the Pullcaster to bring the crate with you. Pull it back into another divot where it fits.
  14. 14
Cross the pillars and climb back up to the highest node. Handholds that were previously inaccessible are now reachable. Raise the water level again using the node and swim to the crate. From there, jump onto a rail.
  15. 15
Enter a room with multiple enemies: Shellwalkers, Spikesnouts, Burrowers, and Scroungers (six machines total). Defeat them using dodging and exploiting their weaknesses with your Focus.
  16. 16
Use the Pullcaster on a crate and move it close to the wall to reach and grab a flying machine.
  17. 17
Override the door and fall into the water. You will encounter a Tideripper. Follow the quest objective to another node to override, then swim through the opening.
  18. 18
Use your Focus to view the Tideripper's information.
  19. 19
Lower the water level using the node, then return to fight the Apex Tideripper. After defeating it, override the Cauldron and exit.
