You can buy the Sun-Touched Hunter Bow from a Hunter in Scalding Spear. This rare mid-range Carja bow has an increased chance of landing extra powerful Critical Hits.

How to Get:

• Location: Scalding Spear Hunter
• Cost: 632 Metal Shards + 1x Tracker Burrower Circulator

To access the western half of the Forbidden West where this bow is sold, you must complete the quest "The Eye of the Earth." Once accessible, travel to Scalding Spear to find the Hunter. The components are generally easier to obtain than those for the Vanguard Hunter Bow.

How to Use:

The Sun-Touched Hunter Bow is a moderate improvement over the Slicing Hunter Bow, dealing more Impact and Tear damage. It uses Hunter Arrows, Advanced Hunter Arrows, and Fire Arrows, with superior Fire damage compared to the Fire Hunter Bow. Its perks include Critical Hit Chance, Critical Hit Damage, and Overdraw Damage, making it effective against midweight machines and wildlife. Fully upgraded, it has two Coil Slots.
