Find the entrance to Cauldron CHI south of the Raintrace West Rebel Outpost, southeast of Thornmarsh. The recommended level is 30, and you must have completed 'The Eye of the Earth'.

The main entrance is blocked. Go north of it and look west for a waterfall. The actual entrance is a secret passage behind this waterfall.

The passage is guarded by Redeye Watchers and a Stalker. While not mandatory to kill them, it makes entry easier. The Stalker can camouflage and lays mines.

Enter the passage behind the waterfall, follow the tunnel to a rappel point, and descend to enter Cauldron CHI.

Upon landing, the door ahead is broken. Smash through the adjacent glass window-like contraption with a melee attack.

Follow the tunnel to a room with a blue light. Use your Pullcaster on the retracted canister behind the blue light to draw it out.

Climb the ledge and override the cauldron door to proceed.

In the next room, you'll encounter Scroungers (some may be Apex variants). Use the tall grass for stealth if desired. Prioritize the Apex Scrounger if present.

More canisters are in the wall. Pull out two from the ground. To reach the higher ones, find the large cargo container attached to a dead Shell-Walker in the middle of the room.

Scan the Shell-Walker with your Focus and shoot the clamp holding the cargo holder to disconnect it.

Position the cargo holder below the middle set of canisters, jump to grab one, and climb to the ledge on the right.

From this ledge, you can pull the final canister at the top. Use the cargo holder or jump to reach the canisters.

Follow the tunnel to a new area where you'll face more machines: Scroungers, a Spikesnout, and a Frostclaw.
