Walkthrough
- 1Accept the quest from Kotallo at a Campfire outside the Ninmah Research Lab.
- 2Enter the lab and defeat or sneak past the Apex Scrapper, Apex Redeye Watcher, and Apex Shell-Walker at the entrance.
- 3Proceed to the Storage Room, defeating two Apex Scrappers and potentially an Apex Burrower.
- 4Access the database console opposite the entrance to the Storage Room.
- 5Defeat the two Specters that appear. Note: Scan them for the All Machine Types Scanned trophy if you haven't already.
- 6Go to the second floor and follow the markers to find the components.
- 7Enter the room overlooking the Storage Room. Kotallo will wait here.
- 8Go through the marked door, then into a large room with a vent panel. Use your Pullcaster to remove it.
- 9Follow the hallway to another room. Look for a vent panel on the ceiling.
- 10Stand on the desk, crawl through the vent, and enter the next room.
- 11Pass through the door and pry open the chest with your spear to obtain the Zenith Components.
- 12Use the Firegleam on the opposite side of the room to create a shortcut back to Kotallo.
- 13Return to The Base and speak to Kotallo.
- 14After completing Faro's Tomb, return to The Base and speak to Kotallo to begin the arm testing phase.
- 15Meet Kotallo at the Campfire northeast of The Bulwark.
- 16Follow Kotallo to a Scorcher.
- 17Defeat the Scorcher. Focus on detaching its back component and shooting its ears. Keep moving to avoid its dash attack.
- 18After the fight, return to The Base and speak to Kotallo.
Tips
- Use the Stalker's Dart Gun found on the ground near the lab entrance to deal significant damage to the initial machines.
- Sneaking past the initial machines can save time.
- Explosive ammo is effective against Specters as they have few detachable components.
- Keep moving during the Scorcher fight to dodge its quick dash attack.
- Detaching the Scorcher's back component can cause an explosion and deal high damage.
- Shooting off the Scorcher's ears provides exclusive loot, though it can be difficult.
- Hitting the component above the Scorcher's hind legs can cause an explosion.
