Alright, let's tackle the Shining Wastes South Rebel Outpost in Horizon Forbidden West. It's a bit tougher than some of the others, so make sure you're around **Level 30** before you go in.

Where to Find It: You'll find this outpost not too far from the Stillsands Rebel Outposts, and generally northwest of the Tallneck in that area. Just head towards that general direction on your map, and you should spot it. The path leading to it is pretty clear, so you shouldn't have trouble finding the entrance.

How to Defeat It:

When you approach, you'll get two main objectives: kill the Rebels (which is optional) and find and kill the Rebel Leader (which is mandatory). The Leader usually starts on the left side of the outpost as you approach.

Your best bet here is stealth. There's plenty of tall grass and buildings to use for cover. If you scan the Leader with your Focus, you can track his movements. You might be able to get close enough for a Silent Strike without alerting the others. Be warned, though, he's got a powerful weapon, so if he spots you, getting close can be tricky.

Once you take down the Leader, you can grab his high-capacity weapon and use it against the remaining Rebels. This can really help if you decide to clear out the whole outpost.

After defeating the Leader, you'll find a Rebel Key. Use this key to open a Chest located at the top of some platforms. Inside, you'll find a Generous Valuables Cache containing Soldier Tags, which will complete the outpost objective.

Don't forget to look around for other valuables! Pulse your Focus to highlight lootable spots and use the grappling points to reach higher platforms. There are other materials and loot scattered around the camp.

If you want to leave without a fight, just run away until you can't hear the Rebel Soldiers anymore. Aloy will mention they'll abandon the place. If you want to go for those optional objectives, you can try to take them all down, but most of them aren't on machines, so it's generally manageable.
