The Twilight Path

After completing [The Point of the Lance], travel to The Daunt. Make your way southwest to Chainscrape.

Once inside Chainscrape, talk to Petra, an acquaintance from Horizon Zero Dawn.

After speaking with Petra, head to the tavern in the center of Chainscrape.

Find Petra inside the tavern and talk to her to start the quest.

Before leaving Chainscrape, you can speak with Tolland, located south of the Campfire. He is not interested in parlaying with the Shadow Carja.

Travel west of Chainscrape into the mountains to find the Shadow Carja settlement. Follow the road, passing through the quarry. At a fork, turn east to reach the settlement.

Upon arrival, you will need to help the Shadow Carja fend off machines: a Fanghorn, Burrowers, and two Scroungers.

After defeating the machines, talk to Lokasha, a refugee attending a wounded individual near a gate. Exhaust her dialogue options to understand why the refugees are present and unable to move on.

Head northwest up a trail towards a waterfall. Shoot down the closest ladder to make it accessible.

Climb the ladder, follow the linear trail to a third ladder, and use your Pullcaster to ascend where it has broken.

Beyond the second climb, find handholds in a cubby. Jump to the opposite wall and vault backward mid-jump (press Circle).

Climb a fourth section of wall to a ledge. Turn left to find a Greenstone Sliver.

Backtrack and climb the cliff face northeast. Use your Pullcaster to ascend faster if desired.

Cross a bridge and use Aloy’s climbing abilities to ascend the cliff face.

Examine blood on the other side, scan it, and tag the trail. Follow the trail through a cave and into a valley.

Defeat the two Burrowers and several Scroungers patrolling the valley. You can use the surrounding grass for ambushes or sneak past them.

Follow Savohar’s trail until you reach a Campfire. The Sun-Priest will be nearby.

Talk to Savohar.

To reach the fallen Stormbird, cross over to the tower. Jump south off the broken bridge and use your Pullcaster to reach a handhold on the cliff across from the Campfire.

Climb along the cliff face to the right to ascend near the tower.

Reach the tower, climb to the top, and recover the Stormbird Heart.

The return journey is easier due to more accessible grapple points. Cross back over the bridge.

Check on Savohar.

Work your way back down to the refugee camp.

Confront Tolland and choose any dialogue option.

Aloy will instruct Lokasha, and the quest will conclude.
