Dimension's Hollow (Part 2)

Your Bravely Second walkthrough continues! Learn how to defeat the Zombie Dragon and Mizuchi, and find the Excalibur III in Dimension's Hollow (Part 2).

Alright, you've made it through the first part of Dimension's Hollow. Now it's time to tackle the second half, which means more tough bosses and some useful loot to grab. Let's dive in!

Boss: Zombie Dragon

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Level: 80
• HP: 200,000
• Weakness: Fire, Light, Dragon, Undead

This undead dragon is back from Bravely Default, and it's ready to give you a hard time. Its main attacks are Bite, which hits one target, and Poison Breath, which deals heavy damage and inflicts poison on your whole party. To deal with the poison, make sure everyone has a Star Pendant equipped, or use Status Barrier to protect against it.

Honestly, this fight is pretty similar to the regular dragon you fought earlier, but this zombified version doesn't use Bravely Second, making it a bit easier. Since it's undead, you can even damage it with healing spells, but remember you can't instantly defeat it with revival items like in the original game.

Pro-Tip: If you have spare SP, you can use Bravely Second and finish the Zombie Dragon in one hit with Benediction or an Elixir. It's not required, but it'll save you a lot of time, and you've got more bosses waiting!

Central (Continued)

After you've dealt with that draconic menace, head west to leave the area.

West

This area might look familiar, as it's the same place you started in. From the entrance, head south for a bit. Take a moment to look over the cliff edge on the east side. You'll find a chest there containing an Asclepius staff. This is a great item for emergencies, as it can cure ailments and revive fallen allies. Still, it's always better to prevent those status effects with Status Barrier and try not to get knocked out in the first place!

Once you've grabbed the staff, continue west along the main path. Near the western edge, the path will split. Take the rightmost path. This will lead you to your final destination in this area: a chest holding the incredibly powerful Excalibur III, and of course, another dragon boss.

Boss: Mizuchi

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Level: 80
• HP: 200,000
• Weakness: Lightning, Dragon

Mizuchi is very similar to the Jabberwock you fought in Dimension's Keep. The main difference is that instead of Evil Eye, it uses Freezing Eye, which makes you weak to water, and instead of Fearsome Breath, it uses Icy Breath, which deals water damage and inflicts Stop.

Strategy:

• Keep using Elemental Barrier after Freezing Eye to make the fight much easier.
• To prevent Stop, either give everyone Stop Immunity from the Time Mage job or keep using Status Barrier.
• Prescience and Group-Cast All are also incredibly useful here.
