How to Summon a Friend:

When it's your turn in battle, just select the Summon Friend command. You'll then see an option to Summon. This brings up a list of all the friends who've offered their help. You'll see who sent the summon, their character's Level, the specific move they've chosen, and whether it's an attack or healing power (indicated by blue text). Pick the one you want, and they'll jump into the fray on your character's turn.

What your summoned friend actually does depends on the move they've set – it could be a powerful attack against the enemies, a much-needed heal for your party, or something else entirely!

Here's a cool detail: using a friend summon counts as a regular action. This means you can summon multiple friends in the same turn, or even use it alongside the Brave command. Just remember, you can't use the same friend summon twice in a row unless the sender decides to send it again.

How to Send a Summon to a Friend:

Want to be helpful or return a favor? When it's your character's turn, select the Summon Friend command again, but this time choose to Send. You'll notice an orange frame appear around the command menu – that's your signal you're ready to send a move. Just pick an applicable move like you normally would, and you're all set!

After you perform your action, your character will do a little animation, like tossing Agnes's pendant in the air, showing that your summon was sent successfully. Once you wrap up the battle, the move you sent will be automatically updated for your friends to use.
