Patissier

Prolong Enfeeble (Support, 1 slot): This ability makes your stat-reduction effects last twice as long. It specifically affects effects that reduce an enemy’s stats, like Physical Attack, but not elemental weaknesses or status ailments. It's a valuable ability for any job that focuses on debuffing enemy stats, such as the Pirate.

Bon Appetit (Command, None): Combine two confectionary items to apply a weakening effect (element weakening, status ailment, or stat-reduction) to an enemy. While it requires effort, confectionary items can be purchased from Fort-Lune once upgraded. Stat reductions are the most effective use, especially when combined with Prolong Enfeeble. A key use of the Patissier is to use their Ghostly Ganache to turn party members into invincible ghosts. Combining this with the Red Mage’s MP Free in a Pinch and the Wizard’s Full Charge allows for zero MP consumption and double damage. However, you cannot have a full party of ghosts, as this results in a Game Over. A party of three ghosts and one tank is recommended.

Harvest (Command, None): Obtain a random confectionary item. The available items depend on the location. This is a free way to gather confectionary items, primarily useful early on before you have access to ingredients from the Adventurer’s Shop or if you are low on funds.

Flambe (Command, None): Unleash a fire-based attack that deals more damage to foes with high BP, up to 2 times more. This is a cheap way to punish enemies saving BP or to stop enemies that have used a Brave Attack.

Decoration (Command, None): Increase a selected ally’s chance of being targeted by enemies to the highest level for 10 turns. This can be used to draw enemy attention away from fragile allies or the Patissier, and works well with abilities that trigger counter-attacks or require getting hit.

Status Ailment Amp (Support, 1 slot): Increases the chance of inflicting status ailments by 25%. This is highly recommended if you aim to inflict ailments and also works with the Astrologian’s Lucky Day. Equip this when turning party members into ghosts, as ghost is considered an ailment and could potentially fail.

Glace (Support, 1 slot): Doubles the effect of consumable items that restore HP and MP. This is essential if you rely on items. It only works for the user during battle but affects all party members outside of battle if equipped by anyone.

Digestion (Command, 8 MP): Cancel ghost state and stat increases for all party members. This can be used to quickly restore everyone when an all-ghost party is no longer needed, or on enemy parties to nullify all stat boosts (but not reductions).

Items for All (Support, 1 slot): Consumable items and effects from Bon Appetit will affect the entire party (allies or enemies). Some items are not affected. This allows for effects like giving everyone a Phoenix Down or weakening all foes simultaneously. Be cautious not to use Ghostly Ganache on the entire party.

Critical Hitter (Support, 1 slot): Spells and attack items used by the user have a 25% chance of scoring a critical hit, doubling damage or recovery effects. This is considered unreliable compared to other options like Wizard’s Full Charge for offense or White Mage’s Group-Cast Master for healing.

Piestorm (Command, None): Throw four pies at random targets, each lowering a different stat (Physical Attack, Physical Defence, Magic Attack, and Magic Defence) by 25% for 4 turns. The lower limit for stats is 75%. Against bosses, this weakens four key stats for 8 turns when combined with Prolong Enfeeble, at no cost.
