Alright, so you're in the Water Corridor and need to find your way to the Engine Room. If you haven't spotted Jill yet, just swim towards the middle catwalk and look left. You'll see the gear puzzle mechanism she used earlier. Jill's actually in the Water Corridor, not too far from the Engine Room itself.

You can go ahead and open the door to the Tank Room up north. Inside, Jill can grab some ammo off the tanks, and there's an air pocket in the ceiling. That's about it for that room, though. Now, to get to the Engine Room, swim down the ladder on the west side of the catwalk in the center of the corridor and open that door.

Engine Room

Your main goal in the Engine Room is to reach the air pocket located at the very top, in the center. Remember that vent? It's the same one Jill pulled the grating off of with pipes earlier, right after the room flooded. Just swim up there to catch your breath.
