Alright, so you've found the Green Herb, but it's smack-dab in the middle of some annoying lasers. Don't worry, we'll get you through this. You'll see a control panel with a red light on it. Go ahead and press that button.

This will make the lasers realign, and a new path will open up behind you where the green light turns on. Turn around and follow this new path through the lasers. It'll lead you back to the beginning, but don't worry, a new route has opened up. You'll see a ladder on the west side of the room – go ahead and fall off it.

Whoa, almost got me too! Don't worry, it's not a shark, just a little jump scare. After that little fright, Chris will contact Jill. You'll need to open the door to your right.

Hall to Virus Preparation Room

Now you're in a hallway. You'll need to sneak along the walkway. Keep an eye out, because a Tricorne Ooze is going to appear up ahead. Take out your machine gun or handgun and blast it from a distance. As you move further down, a Scarmiglione, the one with the lance and shield, will block your path. Just shoot whatever part of its body isn't covered by the shield. You can take him down pretty quickly this way with any weapon, but a powerful machine gun works wonders.

After that, another Scarmiglione will drop from a platform above as you climb a ladder in the back. Take care of that one too. For now, ignore the door to your side and keep following the walkway with the railing. Climb the ladder at the end to reach the top platform. Up here, you'll find some handy items: Machine Gun Ammo (+50) and a Pulse Grenade, both sitting on a metal table. You'll also find some --ILLEGAL CUSTOM PARTS--.
