First off, you'll be in the Cargo Room. As soon as you enter, you'll need to surface for air. Then, dive back down and swim towards the northeast side of the area to find a ladder. Climb up to the upper walkway.

Chris will head over to a ladder on the northwest side and tell Jill the lab is close. He'll dive into the water, so follow him. Dive in and open the door on the northwest side of the water area below.

This leads into the Flooded Corridor. Just swim through quickly and open the door at the end.

Next up is the Flooded Stairway. Chris will be waiting for you on the other side of the door, holding his breath so you don't have to push it open – how sweet! Swim to the top of this area and climb the ladder to the walkway.

You'll find the TRIDENT KEY here, which Chris gives to Jill. Use this key to unlock the door.

Now you're in the Lab Entrance Hall. The double doors ahead are locked and need fingerprint access. You can't open them right now. However, the door down the hall has a broken window to its left. Go to the broken window and hop through into the next room.

This room is the Filing Room. Head to the back and interact with the PC on the desk. You'll see a fingerprint scanner. Place your right index finger on the center of the right diagram on the touch screen. Keep it there, nice and still, while it scans. If you move it or lift it too soon, you'll get an error and have to try again. This is how all fingerprint scanners work in the game, so remember it!

Once the fingerprint is registered, you'll be able to proceed. You can use the green weapon crate here if you need to restock. Then, hop back out the window.

Now, head back to the Lab Entrance Hall. You should be able to access the previously locked double doors with the fingerprint scanner.

Once inside, you'll be in a corridor. The Shotgun Ammo is located in the third corridor behind a locked door. You'll need to find the key for this door. Keep an eye out for the [ ] Pulse Grenade and [ ] Handgun Ammo (+10) scans along the way, as they're in nearby areas.

Tips

Remember to keep your finger steady on the fingerprint scanner; it's a common point of failure if you rush it.
The Trident Key is crucial, so make sure you don't miss it on the walkway.
