[ ] Shotgun Shells (+16) - On a cabinet in the room with the Chunk Ooze.

As soon as you and Jessica enter the next area, which we'll call the Maintenance Room Passage, you'll see a Tricorne Ooze and a Pincer Ooze heading up the stairs to your right.

There's also a Chunk Ooze waiting for you down the corridor to the right. It's super important to deal with this Chunk Ooze *first*. Use your machine gun to take it out quickly.

If you try to fight the other two Oozes before dealing with the Chunk Ooze, it'll explode and take both you and Jessica out. Not ideal!

Once the Chunk Ooze is down, you can then turn your attention to the Tricorne Ooze and Pincer Ooze.

After clearing the enemies, look for a cabinet in this room. You'll find +16 Shotgun Shells there.

Next, you'll move into the Engine Room Corridor. As soon as you step into this area, three normal Oozes will start crawling towards you from the left. Behind them, a Tricorne Ooze will also appear.

Your best bet here is to toss a hand grenade at the group of normal Oozes to take them out quickly, then use your weapon to shoot the Tricorne Ooze from a distance.

The gate door to the north won't open, so head for the gate door on the south end. Open it, then open the next door. This will trigger a cutscene where Quint contacts Chris, letting him know the Engine Room is nearby, just before you enter it.
