The scanner is a tool you can use to find hidden items in your surroundings. When a hidden item is close to Jill, the scanner will display a glowing yellow sphere on the bottom right of its screen (the scanner's display). To reveal the item, press and hold the Y button to scan the area. Once revealed, Jill can walk over and collect it.
