Learn how to defeat the Scarmiglione in Resident Evil: Revelations' Sterilization Room and find the handprint in the Experiment Room.
Walkthrough
- 1Chris will enter his sterilization room first, then Jill's door will open shortly after.
- 2While waiting for Jill's door to open, a Scarmiglione will break through the south wall.
- 3The Scarmiglione is a large, human-like creature with a lance arm and a shield-like arm.
- 4Target any part of its body not covered by its shield arm for damage.
- 5If you shoot its legs, it may expose its head.
- 6Maintain a mid-distance to avoid its close-range lance attacks and shield ram dashes.
- 7Use a machine gun if you have ample ammo; a magnum is not necessary.
- 8A pulse grenade will instantly stun the Scarmiglione, allowing for a charged melee attack for significant damage.
- 9Try to limit pulse grenade usage to allow Jill's door to open.
- 10Once the door opens, step into the lab area.
- 11The Scarmiglione will follow you outside to the Experiment Room.
- 12You can lead it downstairs, but it's recommended to fight it in the Experiment Room.
- 13When the Scarmiglione takes heavy damage, its upper half may explode, leaving a pink appendage that shocks the area in front of it.
- 14This appendage is easily knocked down with a shotgun blast, indicating the creature is near death.
- 15If you continuously shoot its legs, they will explode, and the torso will crawl on the ground, slashing with its lance arm.
Tips
- The Scarmiglione's weak areas are its head and any exposed body part not covered by its shield.
- A pulse grenade can stun it for a powerful charged melee attack.
- Shock grenades are very effective, with about two needed to kill one.
- A shotgun blast can knock down the Scarmiglione when only its top appendage remains.
Experiment Room Handprint:
In the Experiment Room, on the west side of the tank containing a fish, you will find a handprint (25/30). It is located on the left glass panel when facing the west side of the fish tank.
