Walkthrough
  1. 1
Surf east upon entering Route 124 to find two trainers.
  2. 2
Battle them individually or in a double battle.
  3. 3
Continue heading east to find the next trainer and battle them.
  4. 4
Surf south until you reach rocks, then head west into a closed area to find and battle Sis and Bro Lila and Roy.
  5. 5
Surf east to find another trainer and battle them.
  6. 6
Continue east to find a house where shards can be exchanged for stones (requires Dive, which is not yet available).
  7. 7
South of the house is one final trainer to battle.
  8. 8
Surf east from the last trainer to reach Mossdeep City.

Near the shallow water upon arrival in Mossdeep City, a man can teach the move Dynamicpunch. This is a fighting move with a 50% chance to hit and a chance to confuse the opponent when it hits.

Tips
  • The Super Rod is obtained soon, allowing for better fishing encounters like Wailmer and Sharpedo.
  • Diving allows for encounters with Clamperl, Chinchou, and Relicanth.
  • The house for exchanging shards for stones will be accessible later in the game.
