Walkthrough

    Upon entering Mt. Pyre, head north. In the northeast corner, speak to the woman to receive a Cleanse Tag.

    Proceed north to the stairs leading to the interior.

    2nd Floor: Head south to find trainers. Battle Pokemaniac Mark (Rhyhorn Lvl 31), Hex Maniac Leah (Spoink Lvl 31), Black Belt Zander (Hariyama Lvl 31), and the Young Couple Dez and Luke (Manectric Lvl 31, Delcatty Lvl 31). After battling the Young Couple, pick up the Ultra Ball next to them. Head north to the stairs to the 3rd floor.

    3rd Floor: Battle Psychic Kayla (Wobbuffet Lvl 26, Natu Lvl 26, Kadabra Lvl 26) and Pokemon Breeder Gabrielle (Skitty Lvl 26, Poochyena Lvl 26, Zigzagoon Lvl 26). You can initiate a team battle with them. Head west to battle Psychic William (Ralts Lvl 26, Ralts Lvl 26, Kirlia Lvl 26). South of William, pick up the Super Repel. Head north to the 4th floor.

    4th Floor: Battle Hex Maniac Tasha (Shuppet Lvl 32). Head east to find her. Nothing else of interest on this floor. Proceed to the 5th floor.

    5th Floor: Battle Black Belt Atsushi (Hariyama Lvl 32). Head west to find him. Proceed north to the top floor.

    Top Floor: Battle Hex Maniac Valerie (Sableye Lvl 32) and Psychic Cedric (Wobbuffet Lvl 32). You can initiate a team battle with them. After the battles, head down the stairs and pick up TM30: Shadow Ball. Drop down the hole to your left to find the Lax Incense. Walk right and jump down the bottom hole to find the Sea Incense. Navigate through the holes until you return to the bottom floor.

    Exit the interior and head to the exterior of Mt. Pyre. Head east and cross the stairs, then ascend the steps. At the top, go left and enter the structure. Head down the stairs to find TM48: Skill Swap. Head back up the stairs.
Tips
  • Pokemon in Mt. Pyre (Interior): Floors 1-3: Shuppet (Very Common). Floors 4-6: Shuppet (Very Common), Duskull (Uncommon). Duskull evolves into Dusclops, which has very high defense and special defense.
  • Pokemon in Mt. Pyre (Exterior): Lower Half: Shuppet (Very Common), Vulpix (Common), Wingull (Uncommon). Upper Half: Shuppet (Very Common), Duskull (Uncommon), Chimecho (Very Rare). Vulpix can evolve into Ninetales with a Fire Stone and has good speed. Chimecho has poor stats and is not recommended unless for Pokedex completion.
  • The Super Repel obtained on the 3rd floor will be useful for the remaining floors of the tower.
  • TM30: Shadow Ball is a powerful Ghost-type move with a Special Defense-lowering effect.
  • TM48: Skill Swap allows you to swap abilities with your opponent for the duration of the battle.
