Discover and battle all the trainers on Route 115 in Pokemon Emerald. Get tips on their Pokemon, team battles, and find valuable TMs and items along the way.

Alright, let's head over to Route 115 in Pokemon Emerald. First things first, you'll need to fly to Rustboro City. Once you're there, head north. You'll find yourself on Route 115, and the path involves cutting through some ledges and heading down some steps to the left, onto the sandy area. From there, surf north. You'll spot a trainer on the sand, but don't go to them just yet! Keep surfing north until you reach a new patch of land. Head up the steps here, and you'll find a new area on the route packed with trainers. Let's get ready to battle!

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First up is Expert Timothy, a Match Call Trainer. He's got a Level 27 Hariyama (Fighting type) and will give you $1080. He's chilling in an alcove to the left of where you entered this new area.
  2. 2
Next, head right from Timothy and you'll find Triathlete Kyra. She's got a Level 26 Doduo and a Level 26 Dodrio (both Normal/Flying) and will give you $1040.
  3. 3
Keep heading right, and you'll encounter Ninja Boy Jaiden. He's got a Level 26 Ninjask (Bug/Flying) and a Level 26 Gulpin (Poison), offering $312 for the win.
  4. 4
After Jaiden, head up north through the passage. You'll enter another area where two trainers are waiting. This is where things get interesting! You'll find Battle Girl Helene with a Level 26 Meditite (Psychic/Fighting) and a Level 26 Makuhita (Fighting), and right next to her is Psychic Alix with a Level 26 Kadabra (Psychic) and a Level 26 Kirlia (Psychic). If you walk right between them, you'll trigger a Double Battle! Together, they'll give you a nice $1298.
  5. 5
After that big battle, continue heading north all the way to the end of this area. You'll find another trainer here, so be ready for another fight.
  6. 6
Now, head back to where Black Belt Koichi was. He had a Level 24 Machop and a Level 24 Machoke (both Fighting types) and would have given you $896. From his spot, head up the steps to the right. You'll find the TM01: Focus Punch! This is a really powerful move, but be warned: it takes a turn to charge up, and if your Pokemon gets hit during that charge, it'll lose its focus and have to start over.
Tips
  • Don't forget to grab the Kelpsy Berries in the area with Helene and Alix if you want them!
  • TM01: Focus Punch is a great move for Pokemon that can take a hit or have high speed to ensure they don't get interrupted during the charge-up turn.
  • Route 115 is also a great place to catch some Pokemon if you need to fill out your team or find something specific. You can find Swablu, Taillow, Swellow, Jigglypuff, and Wingull on land. In the water, you might encounter Tentacool, Wingull, Pelipper, and if you're fishing, Magikarp, Tentacool, Wailmer, and even Wailord with the Super Rod.
