Master all the Rampages in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories! This guide breaks down VCP-R22, VCP-R23, and LGC-R24 with locations, strategies, and tips.

Alright, let's dive into some of the trickier Rampages in Vice City Stories. These aren't your typical 'go blow stuff up' missions; they've got specific targets and sometimes some annoying complications. We'll cover three of them here: terminating sharks, destroying vehicles, and a golf club challenge.

Walkthrough
  1. 1

    Rampage #[VCP-R22]: Terminate 25 Sharks (M-16)

Location: You'll find this Rampage on top of the Bumper Cars at The Fairgrounds. Map coordinates are (E-5).

Directions: To get up there, your best bet is to drive an Ambulance to the Bumper Cars. The height of the ambulance should let you climb onto the ride. Alternatively, you can try climbing some yellow boxes and finding a gap behind the attraction to reach the roof.

Notes: Once you're up there, use the surrounding buildings for cover. The Sharks tend to spawn in big groups, so staying mobile and using cover will be key to surviving their attacks. A really good spot to get an advantage is the ramp at the south entrance. You can shoot down at them from there, and they'll have a tough time getting a clear shot at you.

  2. 2

    Rampage #[VCP-R23]: Destroy 10 Vehicles (Mini-Gun)

Location: This one is located in the shower stalls on the northwest side of the Starfish Apartment Complex. Map coordinates are (E-4).

Notes: After grabbing the Mini-Gun, head east back to the street. Point yourself north towards the intersection. You need to destroy 10 vehicles, and thankfully, enough cars should spawn in this area to complete the objective. Just keep an eye out and keep firing.

Warning: Be super careful about attracting a foot Cop. If one gets involved, this Rampage can become a nightmare. They'll constantly attack you when you stop to shoot, knock you down, and bust you before you can even react. Try to avoid engaging them directly if possible.

  3. 3

Rampage #[LGC-R24]: Slay 20 Sharks (Remote Grenades)

Location: You'll find this Rampage in the middle of the Tennis Courts, just north of the Clubhouse at Leaf Links Golf Club. Map coordinates are (C-5).

Notes: This Rampage is a bit different because you're using Remote Grenades, not regular ones. This means you have to throw the grenade and then manually detonate it, so timing is crucial. The Sharks here are armed with just Baseball Bats and Pistols, which is a bit of a relief compared to other Rampages. They do tend to spawn in large groups, so you can take out several at once if you position yourself well.

Strategy: Keep your distance! Detonating the Remote Grenades too close to yourself can cause self-inflicted damage. Use the open space to your advantage, but be mindful of where you're throwing and detonating.

PSP Version Differences:

Just a heads-up for you PSP players: these Rampages can be a bit tougher. You don't have the second analog stick for aiming, and the game tends to spawn fewer cars. For the vehicle destruction Rampage, you'll likely need to start in the street with the cars at the nearby intersection. You'll also have to deal with Bikers getting angry when you blow up their rides, and the Cops will show up too. The good news is that the Cops often drive right into your line of fire, so you can use their cars to help complete the objective. Just keep dodging their fire and using the chaos to your advantage.
