Your ultimate guide to finding all the hidden Balloons in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. We cover Starfish Island, Fort Baxter, and Escobar International Airport.

Alright, let's get down to business finding some of those pesky Balloons in Vice City Stories. This section covers a bunch of them, so buckle up!

The Beachcomber Hotel Area

First up, head back down to ground level and get onto Bayshore Avenue. Cruise south until you hit the next three-way intersection. On the east side, you'll see the South Bridge. On the west side, there's a pink building. Keep your eyes peeled on the northwest corner of this intersection – there's a teal and lavender apartment building. Look on the south side of this building, near the top, above a balcony. You should spot a Balloon. An Assault Rifle is your best bet for snagging this one.

Starfish Island (SFI)

We've got two Balloons to find on Starfish Island.

#[SFI-BN37] You'll find this one right at the front door of a tan house. To get there, head to the three-way intersection near the northwest corner of The Mansion. From there, go west. You'll see a tall salmon-colored wall on your right. Keep going straight until you reach the front gate. Turn right through the gate, and head for the tan house directly ahead. The Balloon is waiting by the front door.

#[SFI-BN38] This next one is tucked underneath the roof overhang at the southeast corner of The Mansion. Easy peasy.

Fort Baxter Air Base (FBA)

Fort Baxter has two Balloons for us.

#[FBA-BN39] Head to the main building in the northwest part of the base. Look near the base of the large tower on top of it. You can probably hit this with an Assault Rifle while you're inside the base, but for the best shot, use a Sniper Rifle.

#[FBA-BN40] The final Balloon in Fort Baxter is under the Guard Tower on the southeast side of the Air Base. Pro tip: you can probably nab this one from outside the base without even going in.

Escobar International Airport (EIA)

We've got four Balloons to track down at the airport.

#[EIA-BN41] Make your way to the North Terminal Building on the west side. Look under the top overhang – there's a Balloon waiting for you. An Assault Rifle should do the trick here.

#[EIA-BN42] This one is inside the EIA Main Terminal Building, under one of the escalators on the east side. Now, getting weapons inside the terminal is tricky since they strip you. Here are a few ways to get it:

  • Lowrider Trick: Grab a car that sits low to the ground and drive it to the metal detector. Then, get on top of the car and jump over the railing. This lets you bring your weapons inside.
  • Guard Beatdown: If the lowrider trick isn't your style, you can go inside, find a security guard, and beat them up to get a weapon.
  • Sniper Shot: If you've got a Laser Sniper or Sniper Rifle, you can stand outside the east entrance on the sidewalk and snipe the Balloon. Oddly enough, other weapons won't work for this.
