Complete guide for Part 49 of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, covering exclusive jumps, the Ambulance mission, and the Firetruck mission.

This section of the guide covers specific challenges and missions in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, including PlayStation 2 exclusive stunt jumps, the Ambulance mission, and the Firetruck mission.

PlayStation 2 Exclusive Jumps:

  1. [LTV-J21] - A wooden ramp. (Little Havana)
    • Location: On top of the junked car behind the wall just north of Sunshine Autos.
    • Map: (F-2).
    • Vehicle: PCJ-600.
    • Heading: North to South and land in the Sunshine Autos area.
    • Notes: You will need to go through alleys and lean down to get enough speed to make the Jump.
  2. [SFI-J22] - A wooden ramp. (Starfish Island)
    • Location: At the west side of The Mansion.
    • Map: (E-2).
    • Vehicle: PCJ-600.
    • Heading: Northeast to Southwest and jump completely over the small pond.
    • Notes: You have to start near the driveway entrance then curve towards the ramp but it is not a difficult Jump.

Ambulance Mission (WSD13):

Find an Ambulance near Schuman Health Care Center (Downtown), West Haven Community Healthcare Center (Little Havana), Shady Palms Hospital (Vice Point), or Ocean View Hospital (Ocean Beach). Press the Activate Vehicle Mission button to start. The mission involves picking up patients and taking them to a hospital. There are fifteen levels, starting with one patient and adding one per level up to fifteen. You can carry a maximum of three patients at a time. Plan your routes carefully. It's often best to go for the furthest patient first. When approaching a patient, ensure they are on your right and don't get too close as they run towards your vehicle. Start driving as soon as the patient begins to get in to save time. Use your Siren to make other cars move out of the way. Completing this mission grants the Infinite Run feature (but not infinite swimming stamina). Checkpoints are located at Level 5 and Level 10. You can find a new Ambulance if yours is too damaged, provided you don't have any patients with you.

Firetruck Mission (WSD14):

Find a Firetruck at the Downtown Fire Station. Press the Activate Vehicle Mission button to begin. The mission requires you to extinguish vehicle fires with the water cannon (Circle Button) within a time limit. Level 1 involves a single car fire. On Level 2, after extinguishing the car fire, a person will exit the vehicle on fire.
