Walkthrough

    Return to the entrance tunnel at the eastern end of the area. Follow the southern wall south-west until you find a Mineral Deposit containing the Ruby Stone. This progresses Dino's questline, though his next quest requires going to Costlemark.

    Continue along the southern edge of the area to the south-west to find a loot spot containing the Sapphire Bracelet.

    Make your way to the western end of the area and find a tunnel leading deeper. Before entering, leap up the ledges to the north to find another loot spot containing the Oracle Ascension Coin between the boundary wall and a boulder.

    Enter the western tunnel. You will encounter Liches and Crème Brûlée at night, or Mushussu and Mandrakes during the day.

    The path will fork. Take the southern path to reach the Pectriche Haven Campground. Here you can find elemental deposits and the Myrlwood Falls Fishing Spot, which has two loot spots (a random lure and a random line). Note that you cannot save here except via autosave when resting.

    Return to the fork and take the north-western branch, which leads uphill.

    Kill the foes at the end of this tunnel and continue west to overlook an area below. Find a loot spot containing the Gold Bangle.

    Drop off the ledge or head north down a slope, then continue west. You will encounter a Treant (level thirty-eight).

    After defeating the Treant, search near the base of a tree in the center of the area for a loot spot containing a Mega Phoenix.

    Continue west to find the Tomb of the Rogue. Enter and claim the Star of the Rogue.

    Return to the area where you fought the Treant. If it is daytime, wait until night for the Myrlwood Fireflies to appear.

    Collect the three Myrlwood Fireflies: one near the tree in the center surrounded by water, one north of that near some ferns, and one along the southern edge on a ledge behind a rock.

    Return to Sania with the fireflies.
Tips
  • The Treant is weak to greatswords, machinery, and fire. It is resistant to lightning and holy. Be wary of its Confusion howl.
  • The Myrlwood Fireflies are only active at night.
