    Check the hunts available at the Taelpar Rest Area: Horned Hunting Hazards (Level 23, **), Hunters of Secullam Pass (Level 34, ***), Reclaiming Schier Heights (Level 37, ***), A Roaring in the Night (Level 37, ***), and Old Denizens of the Woods (Level 63, ****).

    Purchase new weapons from Culless Munitions, such as the Rune Saber (600 Gil), Flame Tongue (800 Gil), Claymore (600 Gil), Rapier Lance (600 Gil), Storm Lance (800 Gil), Mythril Knives (600 Gil), Mythril Pistol (600 Gil), Power Shield (600 Gil), Ice Shield (800 Gil), Carbon Bangle (2,000 Gil), Garnet Bracelet (800 Gil), Fencer’s Anklet (2,000 Gil), Bulletproof Vest (1,500 Gil), Angel Earring (1,000 Gil), and Power Stone (2,000 Gil).

    Drive north from Taelpar Rest Area and exit near the quest marker for "A Rocky End". Head south-west into the wilderness between the western and southern roads to find Voretooths. Slay them.

    Search near rocks along the south-western edge of the search area for the Scorched Dog Tag.

    Return the Scorched Dog Tag to Dave to receive 1,000 EXP and 10 Hi-Elixirs.

    After returning the Scorched Dog Tag, Dave will give you the quest "Swallowed by Shadows". Drive to the quest marker, disembarking on a dirt road north of it, south of the crater housing The Archaean’s Mirror Fishing Spot.

    Hop the fence to the south and make your way uphill to a logging shelter infested with Hundlegs. Defeat them.

    Search the shelter for the Twisted Dog Tag between cut logs and a table.

    Return the Twisted Dog Tag to Dave to receive 1,000 EXP and 10 Hi-Elixirs.

    Drive north past the three-way fork near "A Rock End" to reach the Secullam Pass Parking Spot.
